"Community" orchestras' violin sections (often around 20 - 30 violinists) probably sounds about like (similar in that the violin has no frets and the trombone has no valves) a what-if section of 20 - 30 amateur trombonists trying to play stuff - in unison - as tough as stuff normally written for violins.
