We have 3 Cerveny 681s in our highschool band, i've been playing mine since 9th grade (now a junior) and just discovered today that one of the three horns appear to be larger thne the other two..
all three show to be 681s stamped on the bell, and were bought at the same time. The larger one stands tall then the other two, sits higher in your lap, as well as seems heavier..
Any ideas? the spit valve is also different, not in location but the valve itself..
why would 2 horns of the same make model and bought at the same time be different sizes?
