Farah, I don't know what you use for your winter ceremonial gigs, but each kind of plastic feels different in stickiness and heat reflection, and it also depends on how smoothly they are finished. I use Lexan (all the time) because I think it is very comfortable- it feels a little sticky and a little warm, but not too much. Some players like Delrin, which should be slipperier since it's related to Teflon, but I haven't tried it myself. Delrin is bright white (also available in black) and I like the appearance of Lexan which is clear. Nylon is yellowish-white. Acrylic is totally clear and feels hot.
