Many people have great success using smaller mouthpieces on their CC tubas. The Mirafone C4 is a popular choice of both F and CC players, and IMHO works very well on either. There is a Yamaha version of this called the Bobo solo. The symphonic version (of the Bobo mouthpiece) is basically a Mirafone Rose Orchestra model. You might also be interested in a Yamaha Jim Self model. It is basically a Mirafone C4 with a deeper cup. The PT-64 (probably similar to a Pt-60, but not sure) might also be worth looking at, as it seems to be very popular with the f tuba players lately, or maybe even something like a Conn Helleberg 7-B, which is one of the smaller mouthpieces available. Floyd Cooley uses the "Cooley Helleberg" which is a Conn 7-B with a more open backbore on his Nirschl York.
