You're going to think this is strange. It's called monovision. I've been using it with my contacts since my mid-forties, when presbyiopia stated setting in. For me one contact is fully corrected for distance and one is under-corrected to focus at slightly farther than normal reading distance. It works well at the computer and for reading music.

How can you try this? Get some cheap full size reading glasses at most any drug store and pop out one lens. Believe it or not, the brain will figure it all out, and you will be able to read the music and see the conductor. However, it will take some getting used to.
