Best bet is to get with someone like Matt W. (AT) Dillon's. Rick Posted not too long ago about some seemingly trivial adjustments that were made on the York Master that made a huge difference. My guess is that since the F's are generally much smaller than the CC's, something that might be very slightly out of whack, but unnoticed on the bigger horns gets noticed on the smaller horns. A piston valve 1/32" out of alignment on a 2155 probably won't be as noticed as one 1/32" out on an F (or especially a euph). Perhaps it is the mouthpiece gap. Again, it might not be as readily apparent on a bigger horn. This W.A.G. would also explain why the big F's (like the Willson's) don't seem to be as susceptible to the low end problems.
