Any comments on Nelhybel Suite?

I just got my all-state piece today and it is entitled "Suite for tuba and piano" by Vaclav Nelhybel. I think that it is a very hard piece due mostly to accents, unusual ties (creating really awkward sounding rythmns) and unusual slurring patterns over the entire piece. The last section also has sudden and very drastic dynamic changes all over the place. I think the second section is the hardest though.
Has anyone ever practiced or performed this piece before? If so can you give a struggling kid like me some advice on how to approach all these difficulties? Also what is the general tone (feeling) for each of the sections?
Is this piece out on a CD?

Thank you,
Fei Huang
