don't over complicate things.
If you spend all your time thinking about what every muscle in your mouth is doing, you'll never be able to hink about what matters: soundsing good.

To paraphrase Mr Jacobs: When you throw a ball, you don't think about what every muscle in your arm is doing...you look where you want it to go, and with practice you can throw to the same spot consistently.

Same when playing: don't think about what your body is doing. Listen to good players to hear good sound...hear a good sound in your head when you play and it will happen (wih practice*, remember the ball) Once you have consistent sound on one note, don't change anyting just becasue you are gonna play a different note....your body won't let you down (as long as you pratice) if all you are asking it to do is sound good.

it's a "simple" as that.
