as a fellow youngster without a tuba but saving up to get one I must tell you that I will be getting a Miraphone 186 but when I asked arround I was also told that if you do get a nice tuba and you are nice to it (not denting it etc) then you will MOST LIKELY be able to sell it for about what you got it for. Now I'm not telling you to just go out and buy a tuba without thinking it through, just remeber that it IS a big investment and you'll have to take care of it if you plan to sell it again
