I played a 3/4 F MW the other day and wasn't real impressed. Its a very small tuba almost looks like a euph. I think it was designed more as a beginner instrument for little people rather than upper reg. solo instrument. I reckon it would be hard to get a nice sounding tone throughout the register for a piece like V. Williams with this instrument.
