So, what you're saying is, for example, that if I tend to play most music written in the on-the-(bass clef)staff range or higher, I might get a bigger, richer sound from an F tuba than from a BBb that is working to squeak it out a bit more? (Whereas an F horn has more trouble burping out the notes way below the staff . . .).
I'll confess I've got my eye on that 3/4 size MW F, because of its size . . .
