Good Grief. This all sounded like it would be fun playing tuba in a swing band. But those songs just make an old country/western swing dancer like me cringe. Most bands play them too fast for dancing (keep it under 150 bpm for east coast swing, and play at 120 bpm for west coast swing.) They're also so old fashined sounding when played today. There are a lot of swing groups around now, and it all sounds so thin and contrived. Perhaps it's because none of them use a tuba!
