What will you Hoosiers come up with next?! Yes, the chemistry of that tells me it would clean the brass, but why not use something to protect it, too? Simichrome brand polish will clean and polish brass like you wouldn't believe. I use it to prepare areas before spot-lacquering on repairs. I discovered Simichrome polish shortly after purchasing my first Harley ;^)
