These are both great CD's, though I slightly prefer Bobo's Penderecki. But my favorite recording of the piece is by Josef Baszinska. His CD is a little more difficult to come by, but it's really awesome.
Daniel in the Lion's Den is the first tuba CD that I ever owned. It's a great CD- especially the Mahler Songs and the Carnival of Venice. The Carnival is quite different from Bobo's arrangement- Perantoni sounds fantastic, even though he doesn't go up to the D above double-high C like Bobo does!
