Is the valveset from the King 3 valve front action tuba the same as their sousaphone valveset? And if so would it be possible to purchase a 4 valve cluster from UMI and put it on a used King sousaphone. Would pistons 1, 2 and 3 from the sousaphone work in the new valve cluster or would a person need new pistons too? Obviously you'd need to still purchase a 4th piston and valve tubing for the 4th valve. I'm not planning anything soon but have some thoughts bouncing around in my head.
