I am holding in my lap the bell of an original Bill Bell Model 37 Meinl Weston CC tuba. The diameter of the tubing (from outside of metal to outside of metal) is 6 19/32 in. The metal thickness is just a smideon short of 1/8 in. I don't recall a BBb counterpart being produced, but I may be wrong. If it helps any I know the bell does not fit with a King BBb sousaphone; it's too large.
