I have an old Conn double-bell euph (very old -- it says "Worcester, Mass." on the bell, and I think the Worcester factory burned down in 1896) that sounds good but is in bad shape -- valves leak like a sieve, so I have to slather heavy oil all over them if I want to play the thing. I got an estimate of several hundred bucks to fix the valves, and I'm not sure whether to do that or look for another horn. I use it mostly for jazz.

Reading a bit further down on the board, the consensus does seem to be that the Chinese horns are junk, so I'll stay away from them....
