This spring my teacher had an old Alex F that was nickel silver "consigned" to him,
I played it and really liked the sound and scale a LOT, but thought the seller's asking
price was WAY high (5K!!), so it seemed pointless to me at the time to make an offer.
Silly me. Turned out it sold for a little over half that price. Bummer...
