I can produce timbral melodies over top of the lip vibration with or with out utilising my vocal chords. I know what I play. I have performed it for audiences. The audience members heard it. It exists. You haven't heard what I play, therefore you can't really comment with any authority on what I do. I'm sorry, for your sake, that you don't believe me.

In reference to whistling into the tuba at the same time don't be so quick to that conclusion either, not a lip whistle, obviously, but a whistle between the teeth and tongue

I didn't expect an attack on the way that I generate tones on the tuba. I have put a lot of time and effort over the years in developing extended techniques. Instead of thinking what's NOT possible perhaps you should open your mind to what IS possible.
