yeah, but you can't whistle and play the tuba at the same time. Once the lips are engages in vibration, the only other way to project a note through the horn is to have the vocal chords vibrate. Now whether you change vowel shapes in your mouth to produce different sounds, it still is originating from the vocal chords. All I'm saying is that you can only produce two different sources of vibration when playing the tuba, so you saying you can do three, is in fact anatomically impossible. Unless of course you have 2 sets of vocals chords.
