Thank you for contributing to this post. I have purchased 3 horns through Dillon Music and I know first hand of the excellence that you speak of. Matt is a great repairman and an overall great person.

I have played on several (at least 5 or so) Dillon horns that Matt has made. They have all been excellent horns. I was quite envious of some of my college studio-mates who had these horns. I was thrilled when Matt had created a horn for Conn to create. I too own a Conn 56J, that I purchased from Dillons. I love it. It is truly a great horn!

I think owning a 56J prompted this post. Why not make a 53/57J that are a rotary valve versions of the highly successful 52/56J's? I bet they would be a hit with rotary valve fans. Just a thought :)
