the diaphragm is an involuntary muscle. It is IMPOSSIBLE to "place" an involuntary muscle anywhere. You may be referring to some other muscle or muscle group, but please... let's stop this nonsense. Sorry to be so blunt, but this happens to be a pet peeve of mine. Every time I hear phrases like, "support from the diaphragm", or "use your diaphragm" it drives me crazy. We all should learn a bit more about the human anatomy... the correct inhalation and exhalation muscles uses in respiration. This will help us become more efficient players, and better yet, more effective teachers.
