This is a big loss for tubists, but big gain for the other musicians. We, tubists, won't be delighted and inspired through his solo playing anymore, but now more musicians (including tubists) will have a chance to be a part of his music making. I am very sad that I don't get hear him live for one last time. I hope that someone will be recording the concert.
