Do you want to ADD a valve, or just make the one you have longer? If it is the latter, it's pretty easy just to add tubing. if you want an ADDITIONAL valve, you have to make sure there is ROOM to put it on the mainline. Also, you have to be careful, as ADDING a valve frequently makes the tuba play more stuffy, ESPECIALLY on smaller bore instruments.
