Although I understand the spirit in which this was intended, I doubt the CSO management (the only folks who's opinion and action matter) care or are influenced by what is said on "Tubenet" (with all due respect to our host). Are careers damaged by speculation of baseball trades? If we shouldn't wonder about the goings on with the local musical groups then maybe we should think about them at all. Who will let us know when we can take an interest?
The author of the above comment may not mean it this way, but every time I see this kind of post I get the feeling someone is trying to put themselves nearer to those truly involved. As in "don't talk about one of US."
If you are out there in the public eye in a high profile audition or gig, people are going to wonder. If they stop wondering, that when it's time to worry.
