Our previous emails made me do some rethinking of the origin of my Carl Wunderlich tuba that appears to be identical to 'Sonora'. Take a look at this link:

It's almost for certain that my Wunderlich and your Sonora were made off the same tooling. Even the furrules and strap attachments are identical. The only thing that appears to be missing is the no-name garland. The horn pictured has uniball linkages but that change is understandable since our horns were manufactured 30-some years ago.
