Why does someone always have to make a smart-aleck comment like this? And how convenient that you have to post "anon" (can YOU spell the whole word?) and with no email address.
To the original poster...I had no problem finding places to practice in college. I would get up early every day and head over to the music building around 6:00am; I usually ended up practicing in the band rehearsal hall because no one else was there. It was nice to play in a big empty room. As for the other times, there was always a practice room available. I never practiced in my dorm or my apt. or house when I lived off campus.
