Honestly, I usually hoard 20K's, since everyone asks for them. (It's much easier to sell folks what they ask for, rather than expending the energy to explain to them why they don't want it and why they want something else instead.)

Right now, I have a bunch of 20K Conn sousaphones waiting for restoration and one (or maybe two...' can't remember) 14K Conn sousaphones.

more info: The 36K was the "sister" fiberglass version of the 14K. I also might have one or two 36K's waiting on restoration. Neither the 14K nor the 36K are made today, but there are zillions of these out there. (pssssst: The 14K also weighs tons less than the 20K.)

There are very few 4/4-5/4-6/4 "concert" BBb/CC tubas with the close-to-in-tune overtone series and quality of sound that the 14K sousaphone possesses.
