I saw this film at Birmingham's "Sidewalk Film Festival" today. Two thumbs WAY up.
Tom Dowd was a tubist, a worker on the Manhattan Project, recording engineer without peer, and general participant in the pop/rock/blues/jazz scene from the '40s until his death last October.
If you have the chance to see this film, DO NOT MISS IT.
Anyone here know him? worked with him?
