My old 184 has a 14" bell diameter. I've heard from others that the brand-new ones have a 15" bell diameter. I think this case would accomodate a 15" bell flare with no problem.
My 184 has an overall length of a tad over 37". The upper bow reaches a height (measured from the bottom of the bottom bow) of approximately 24". Though removable, there is a large block foam pad inside the case at approximately the 25" point - measured from the bow-end of the case.
