Isn't that the truth!! Lee Stoffer had a great looking satin silver Conn for sale a while back as well.
It's a great look. I love the contrast that bright silver inside the bell gives. I think it takes a commitment from the owner in terms of time and effort to keep the instrument looking its best, but that doesn't seem like such a burden.
The question I wrestle with is whether I'm after an authentic looking restoration. Holton definitely produced siler plated 345s, but I don't believe they produced any in a satin finish. I've got to think about that one a bit. Currious to hear what others think. I'll chalk your vote up in the satin column!
