Craziest thing about St. Pete's.
A guy in our band just switched from a Mirafone to a St. Pete, and I have to say it does add something to the section as a whole. However, I'd just as soon lose that and go back to the Mirafone than deal with the intonation problems that have sprung up.
FWIW, the section right now is my Getzen CB50, a MW25, and the St. Pete.
I sitll don't understand the marketing ploy "If you want new, but have a low budget, this is the only horn there is." Doesn't VMI (and others) put out quality horns for under 3K?
