Life is weird. I grew up the ulimate TUBA NERD. I listened to nothing but tuba CD's. Classical music and other junk. Now I play tuba for a living and I still get my musicall jollies from that but I get more ispiration from Johnny Cash, George Jones, and Bob Dylan than I do from listeing to Porkonys Big Boy or the newest Maler 5 recording. Tuba is still life for me but as I get older I am finding musical direction from the weirdest places. What keeps you guys inspired?
