Reliable? Yup, doing well so far -- owned my 3302 since the spring of 1998. Not long, but doing fine. Mine has the Nirschl-built stainless steel valveset, which is doing well (as expected). Some early versions were made with an in-house valveset that some say is inferior quality.

Intonation is very, very close -- I pull out the 1st slide for Ab & G, push it in for Eb & D, and that's about it.

Nice sound -- good for a lot of ensembles. One of the senior tubists in the President's Own Marine Band plays the CC version (yup, also by B&S).
