Good luck. I'm sure you'll do fine. I played Pictures years ago (on an Alex F with a very small Czech mp) at school and in Galveston Symphony (wish I'd had an Alex tenor tuba). I worked on it relentlessly for about two months. I botched it in every rehearsal, but nailed it in the performances. Don't let the nerves bother you, it can help your ability to focus and execute, yielding the desired results, especially when paired with your good, hard work. You still may need the extra pair of underwear afterwards, even if you play it flawlessly. I personally tried to avoid thongs and briefs for those post-traumatic-stress situations. Think comfort, my dear, comfort.
