I use the stereotypical Helleberg for all of my playing right now. HOWEVER, for the loudest sound possible form a sousaphone (I figure you'll be marching), the Bach 12 works the best for me.
I'd suggest, try the whole Bach line, and top it off with a few different Hellebergs (b/c there's a lot).
