Oddly enough, Chuck, I first purchased that cassette at the NX at Little Creek while we were stationed there. I still have it and play it in my car.
It is flawless. He played on some smasll, piston valved peckhorn-type of thing, according to our horn players (one of them my Ex-Wife). It was pretty crummy, too, I am led to understand, which makes it all the more remarkable to me.
I am sad that he died young, leaving us too few recordings to listen to.
