When approaching a question like this one thinks, "Hmmm...surely there's a bibliography." Someone, somewhere who likes making lists has probably put together a list of "something" whatever the topic, so nationality, color, sexual orientation, gender, etc. of composers are fair game (as well as instrumentation or theme). And yes, there are, a number bibliographies and other sources. Without resorting to
