Speaking of hose, a kid that plays next to me in community band finally took his Conn sousa to a repairman. His Conn always played flat and stuffy.
Repairman found a soda can and A PIECE OF HOSE stuck inside. Wonder if somebody lost the hose trying to get the soda can out, sort of like the "old lady who swallowed a fly" story??
