Stolen in Eau Claire, Wisconsin September 26, 2002
Besson Euphonium, mid-1960s vintage, recently re-conditioned, lacquer
finish, has the "medium sized" mouthpiece receiver that doesn't fit the
standard tenor or bass shanks of modern mouthpieces.
The case is marked with UWEC #1 (which would probably be covered with paint
anyway...)
Serial number: 436014
There is also a University ID #1860478 which is very lightly inscribed on
the upper portion of the bell.

If believe you have a lead on the location of this instrument, please
contact your local police with the above information and contact David
Crawford, Administrative Assistant, at the Department of Music and Theatre
Arts, University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire at (715) 836-4219 or Dr. Jerry
Young at (715) 836-3633.
