I have an Alexander mouthpiece that I believe was designed specifically for this horn... it has an EXTREMELY shallow cup (looks like a small Eb/F tuba cup, or a wide Euphonium cup) with a disproportionately large shank that fits perfectly with the Alex tuba. The mouthpiece brings the 5th partial up quite a bit, too(making it easier to tune).
Has anyone else seen this mouthpiece before? The one that I have is the only one I've ever seen, and a search through the archives revealed nothing. I'll put up some photos later.
