Hey everyone.
Someone mentioned below about top-sprung valves. I'm assuming this refers to the valve spring setup used in trumpets.
I'm wondering. Do any tubas use this setup? Why has it never caught on? Is there something bad (aside from the casing needing to be bigger) with the design?
