The Loudoun Symphonic Winds announces two openings for tuba players.

Upside: The conductor is Gil Corella, tubist in the Air Force Band. If you want to play for a real tuba player, here is your chance. The music is fun, not the real killer stuff but no stupid medleys of boring TV themes, either. No middle-school stuff. Typical difficulty is good high-school stuff with a fair sprinkling of military band arrangements.

Downside: You have to sit next to me.

Go to the link below for information about our upcoming season and rehearsal location, etc. If you are interested, just show up to a rehearsal, and bring your horn.

If you live in Northern Virginia and need a place to play, and your Tuesday nights are open, please come.
