started cello when I was 9 (only for a couple years, school needed them)
started bass guitar when I was 10 or 11
started tuba when I was 12
I had piano lessons for a year or two... but I never had time to practise.
picked up the viola a little bit

tried to teach myself the saxaphone (that was a big mistake) when I was 15
I can play 3 chords on the guitar *grin*
I'm currently 15 and keep up lessons on Bass (electric and upright) and Tuba, stopped violin lessons last year, though it is my main gig instrument, and I have two darling little students (yeah right). I think the bass and Tuba are a great mix, its beeen said before, but when I get tired on a Dixie gig or something I just turn around and pick up the other one. All the other ones are just college scholarship ploys.
