I recently aquired a Meinl Weston 2000 from David Fedderly at Baltimore Brass.
It is the easiest playing 4/4 - 5/4 instrument I have ever played. I've tried Hirsbrunners, Wilsons, a Conn 56J and a great PT-6p for extended periods of time, and the MW 2000 plays better in tune, with the easiest articulation, and the greatest clarity of any instrument that I have test driven. That's the technical part.
The sound is gorgeous. Not to mention that it is the most versatile CC tuba I have played.
