I've been contacted by a gentleman who has been offered a Besson 982 Eb tuba, 7 years old, in "perfect" condition, complete with ROTARY valves, for only $900. Call me cynical, but I suggested the potential buyer exercise more than just a little caution. I also told him I'd post this scenario for the BBS folks to ponder, and see what their recommendation(s) would be.
