I'm using a PT-50 on my MW 2145 CC. I really like it, but it was quite an experience getting used to it. It's a pretty big mouthpiece. After 30 days with it, everything started to pop in place. I use it for orchestral stuff. For brass quintet, I switch to my Melton 24AW. I've no experience with the PT-48, but isn't it very similar in size to the 50? If it's substantially different, I'll have to try one out.
