You are right--but I can come pretty close to that $3K mark (OBO means that I will entertain reasonable offers) and our poster won't easily find a better deal.
For the record, this 186 is a nice player; the low F just pops right out. The only alternate fingerings that I use are high E/Eh as 12 and 23; they're a bit easier that way. I'd categorize this horn as a nice easy player. The Marzan, on the other hand, is a real bear to play, but the sound is to die for. I guess ya pays yer money and takes yer choice...
