I've noticed that when younger players get to a ff part, they tend to focus all their energies into forcing out a huge sound. Clenching muscles, eyes bulging, necks straining, etc. All of this leads to tension, which restricts the flow of air. Solution? Relax! Take a huge breath but when the ff comes, don't blow furiously. Blow strongly and focus on a round 'o'.
Again, if you can find yourself a teacher to demonstrate this and other helpful hints, this is even better. Good luck!
