Email me if anyone has any serious questions. I think that price quoted is around double what they initially retailed for. I myself never made any money off them, and they never seemed to catch on at the time the initial runs were made. Terry had to create special oversized blanks for them from scratch, hence the higher than usual price which probably made them much less appealing.
I am in awe that as a second rate player my mouthpiece could possibly claim the title of world's most expensive ;) I will be happy to sell you all the air you want to play the tuba for a reasonable price.
